Neidermyer’s Poultry, a family business that has been up and running for over 30 years, has people talking at the MARKET at the FAREWAY. Neidermyer’s take on selling poultry is a little different than other supermarkets and farmers’ markets because Neidermyer’s is “farm fresh right to your table.”
Farm fresh right to your table is something of which the owner, Travis, is very proud. “The products come right from the farm to our stand and then to your table.” Travis says that not only is the poultry “great quality” because it is hormone free, antibiotic free and free-range, but you are getting what poultry “always was” and less of “what it is starting to become.” “There are many health benefits of choosing poultry that is free of those chemicals,” says Travis.
Neidermyer’s Poultry gets all of their poultry from farmlands in the Pennsylvania Dutch Country. When asked to describe the farmlands in the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Travis claimed it is “a very open and peaceful place.”
While chicken is the most popular seller, everything Neidermyer’s has to offer is farm fresh and the quality and the service is always the best. In fact, Travis has no favorite item to sell. He says he likes the variety his business has and he is thrilled with all the customers who come in and try new things.
